At Brix & Co. we hand pour each wax melt and candle which adds that extra touch of homemade to our products. When we set out in 2021 to start our own scent line, our ultimate goal was to create something using products that we felt comfortable burning in our own home. Everything is made using 100% soy wax which is an environmentally friendly renewable resource. Soy wax is non-toxic and also burns slower and cleaner than the commonly used competitor, paraffin wax, so you can enjoy our scents for a little longer. Our candles have all natural cotton wicks. Many of our wax melts and all our candles are made without coloring to uphold our brand aesthetic. Occasionally, we will decide to add a pop of color, only to our wax melts, and when we do it is simply cosmetic grade mica powder. Mica powder is a mineral that is naturally shimmery and a great safe coloring method. The mica powder may settle in your wax melt warmer but easily wipes out when switching out your scents. Our fragrance oils are infused with natural essential oils to help bring our scent line to life. We are extremely happy to share that our fragrance oils are also non-toxic. We use fragrance oils that exclude phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, and reproductive toxins which are commonly found in many fragranced products today. We feel at peace knowing our wax melts are safe to burn around our family and friends and now you and your families as well!
